Product Selection
Travsure annual multi-trip and short period insurance
We only arrange insurance for Travsure annual multi trip and short
period travel insurance through a Syndicate contract scheme at Lloyds of London.
Customer Duty to Give Information
It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate
information at all times. When completing any proposal form, it is your duty
to answer the questions accurately and to disclose any facts material to the
insurance required. Please advise us of any changes to material facts. If
you have any doubt as to whether or not a fact is material you should disclose
it.
Please note that if you fail to disclose any material information to your
insurers this could invalidate your insurance cover and could mean that all
or part of any claim may not be paid.
Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will
only use information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with
The Data Protection Act 1998) .
This information will by necessity be passed to insurers and underwriters
for the purpose of processing your order, administering and maintaining your
insurance cover and dealing with any claims. This may necessitate providing
such information to third parties and may require that this information is
transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). This will only be the
case where a medical or other emergency dictates and it is therefore probable
that your consent will not / cannot be obtained. We will not give any information
to any outside organisation unless for the purpose of the law. We will not
email you in the future unless this is necessary for the operation of your
policy and protection, unless you give us your consent.
All information collected on-line is by using industry standard Secure Socket
Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts the information that you enter and prevents
anyone else from reading or changing the information.
You have the right to see any personal information about you that we hold

What will you have to pay us for our services?
The company normally receives commission from the insurer.
This is a percentage of the premium. Commission rates are variable. We will
disclose the amount payable if you ask us to. The premiums for all
options are shown on the appropriate pages of the website . The premiums quoted
are the full cost of the policy, including insurance premium tax. There are
no other charges but we will usually make an additional charge of £6.00
if you lose your documents and require duplicates to be issued or if you upgrade
or change your cover.
Payment Methods
We accept most major credit or debit cards and these are shown on the various
pages of the website and secure order form. If however you are worried about
giving your credit card details over the internet, you can phone us on 01635
860505 during normal working hours (Monday - Friday 9.00 - 5.30pm). All web
order forms operate on a fully encrypted secure socket layer (SSL) basis.
Your Right To Change Your Mind
Unless your travel policy is for a period of one month or less, if your policy
does not meet your needs you may return the documents to us within 14 days
and your premium will be refunded provided you have not travelled or made
a claim.

What to do if you have a complaint

you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it
to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and or the Lloyds Complaints Bureau.
Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)?
We are covered by the
FSCS. You may be entitled to
compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the
circumstances of the claim. Insurance
advising and arranging is covered for 100 per cent of the first £2,000 and 90
per cent of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.
For compulsory
classes of insurance, insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of
the claim without upper limit.
